I share your sentiments completely Kare, the “human factor” has always had the biggest influence on technological solutions. No matter how high up in the clouds we fly, we still have to have a place to land.

To leverage the power of Web and Video Conferencing
participants need to know how to communicate to collaborate
when using them, including Telepresence.

This will be the year of high tech/high touch:
better use of tech + knowledge of how humans interact
to become higher-performing together whilst meeting viirtually.

Otherwise tech. can only take “us” to far.
That’s what we learned in the Obama campaign.
Winning companies such as Cisco would be wise
to offer support for both needs.

Rollins- Great insight into ’09 global IT trends. My company, QuickArrow, delivers a SaaS Services automation solution – so we’re excited about the expansion of SaaS into areas such as project management and resource management – going beyond just CRM and ERP.

Throughout ’08 we really noticed businesses embracing SaaS solutions – and selfishly, we hope that trend continues.
